Faded Fridays – Concentrate ‘Clear’ Debuts at Harborside Health Center

Happy Friday!

This week’s episode of Faded Fridays features the brand new concentrate ‘Clear’

Have you seen this stuff? It looks pretty crazy and for sure enough to get anyone seriously faded. In fact, the gang at Harborside Health Center in Oakland states, “Embrace Safe Dabbing.”

At a 59.8% THC level and .28% CBD – it’s double the strength of the strongest flower.

Can you see why it topped our list for this week’s episode of Faded Fridays?

Here is more on this amazing Clear Concentrate from the SFGate blog:

“The cleanest, purest extract on the market,” is on the shelves of Harborside Health Center, the Oakland dispensary writes Wednesday on Facebook.

Harborside’s stocks of “Clear Concentrate” are solvent-free, staff says, meaning that it lacks any residual butane or other chemicals that are giving medical marijuana concentrate users pause.

Cannabis concentrates contain concentrated amounts of the active molecules in marijuana like THC and CBD, which relieve nausea, vomiting, pain, muscle spasms, tension, and symptoms of Crohn’s Disease among other uses. Manufacturers use their hands, ice water, or various solvents like butane, hexane and alcohol to concentrate the cannabinoids in marijuana, boosting potency, while decreasing the smoke created by burning the entire flower bud of marijuana.

The rise of butane-based concentrates – combined with a lack of rigorous medical review and no industry standards – has led to speculation over the safety of using solvent hash, especially inhaling the residual butane left in many of the products; which are also called butane hash oil, oil, wax, budder, or shatter.

Clear Concentrate eliminates any worries about residual solvents by eliminating the solvents, Harborside and the manufacturers claim.

“[Clear concentrate] utilizes heat and pressure [to create a concentrate in which] no solvent is detectable at the part-per-billion scale. Clear Concentrate is a solvent-free product,” the dispensary states.

Harborside – which has locations in Oakland and San Jose – tests each batch of Clear Concentrates to ensure no solvents remain, they state.
